We offer 5 species: Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout and Muskie on a choice of 9 lakes including the legendary Lac Seul! Featuring a 1st Class Lodge and cabins at our base or deluxe fly-in semi-remote Outpost camps on the northeast end of Lac Seul. Choose from custom-built 21' Bowriders or 16' Lund boats, featuring new engines every year. Exquisite meals and the most efficient, professional guides and service staff in the industry”

Are you looking for an exciting summer job working outdoors?  Anderson’s Lodge is looking to hire highly motivated people that like to interact with people, want to work in a positive environment, and appreciate personal time enjoying some fishing and relaxing in our pristine Northwest Ontario wilderness.

Our dockhands are an integral part of the day-to-day operations.  You will work a scheduled 44 hours per week with various shift that are designed to have effective manpower during the key times of our operation.  These shifts will include very job-specific routines in the mornings and/or in the evenings.

You will be responsible for tasks that assure a smooth and flawless operation of various boat landings, along with the operations at the main lodge.  Daily activities can include:

•  preparing boats for daily fishing trips
•  transporting fishing guides to various boat landings
•  helping guests at the docks and at boat landings
•  maintenance of the grounds at the main lodge and at all boat landings.  
•  boat and motor equipment inventory and light maintenance
•  dump runs/town runs
•  vehicle maintenance
•  various painting and light carpentry jobs


You must possess good communication skills as you will be dealing with our guests, the fishing guides, your co-workers, and your supervisor on a daily basis.  Being a team player is essential.  You must have a valid driver’s license.  Dependability is of extreme importance, along with confidence to succeed.


$14.00 per hour, plus 4% Holiday pay, and gratuities.  We offer direct deposit and pay on the 15th and 30th of each month.  The gratuities are pooled and paid out at each pay period.
